The Perfect Scenic Location on the Mendocino Coast
Albion River Inn's cliff-top ocean views, lawn terrace, flower gardens and acclaimed restaurant create a romantic & relaxing seaside ambiance for your Mendocino wedding & reception.
Ceremonies take place between 11:00am and noon on the lawn terrace outside the restaurant. Receptions begin directly after the ceremony with champagne, wine, and pass around hors d’oeuvres served while your wedding party and guests enjoy the magnificent coastal views and take advantage of photo opportunities. We can accommodate 80 guests for a full luncheon buffet. Dancing follows lunch, and receptions end at 4 pm.
Albion River Inn will arrange a “ceremony only” or reserve the entire Inn for your gala weekend celebration.
Chef Smith creates wedding menus from the tastefully simple to the elegantly elaborate. Click menus at left to view a list of popular dishes. Chef Smith can also create special menu dishes to reflect your individual style and taste. Buffets include complimentary coffee, tea, punch, and bread. Prices start at $65 per person, plus tax & 18% gratuity.
Our wine cellar features an award winning selection from around the world with emphasis on the best California wine country sparkling and still wines. In addition, full bar with mixed drinks, bottled beer, and the largest single malt scotch collection on the Mendocino Coast is available on a limited or open basis. Wine is charged on a per opened-bottle basis, plus 18% gratuity and 8.25% sales tax. Full bar set-up fee, including services of a bartender, is $100 plus a per drink charge and gratuity. All alcohol served on the property must be purchased through the inn. A copy of our wine and liquor list is available upon request.
Wedding Coordinator:
Music, flowers, decorations, and special activities personalize your ceremony and reception. To assist with arrangements, Albion River Inn provides the services of our wedding coordinator, Chelsea Strupp, who will work closely with the bride and groom regarding rehearsal scheduling, seating arrangements, table décor, wine and menu selections, guest accommodations, as well as establish an itinerary for the day. She will schedule a day in the restaurant to interview photographers, floral designers, bakers, and officiates. She'll be present at the rehearsal and oversee the wedding day activities, including delivery and set up of flowers, cake and decorations.
